No complaints at all — it was a fun, relaxing weekend getaway. I enjoyed it even more since I didn’t have to do the driving!
We just finished a long weekend trip with a group of four couples. We experienced friendly staff in preparing for our trip and at the office/restaurant/gift shop where we spent a portion of the first evening. Check in and out was easy. The boat was very clean and comfortable. And the operating instruction prior to departing for our trip was fantastic, fully preparing us for our venture.
We chose to dock at marinas for our evenings on the river. All of this was arranged with a few easy phone calls even though we had a one of the larger 60-foot houseboats. We were able to experience these river communities and utilize the amenities of the marinas and meet some fun people.
We're already talking of a longer trip next year to head south and experience more of the river and its fantastic scenery and communities.

My family and I rented a houseboat for a 4-day outing and had the best week! The entire process was smooth, simple, and very affordable. Everything is run by a wonderful family who clearly takes pride in what they do. The boat itself was spotless, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and definitely plan on returning for another trip!

The instruction portion was amazing, and I would have loved the opportunity to take more instruction. 😁 I learned so much and we had a blast. You don’t have to lock through if you’re not up for it, plenty of beaches were available, but snag one early if you find one you like. Highly recommend.

Steering one of these bad boys on the Mississippi isn’t for the faint of heart, but gosh was it worth it! We had an incredible time on our houseboat! Fun n the Sun’s entire operation is super smooth, they give great instruction, and the houseboat was clean and cozy! We were also able to tow behind our fishing boat to use for the weekend also!
Great experience, the scenery on the Mississippi River is great. Eric, Jacob and the rest of the family that own and run this business were top notch. DEFINITELY would highly recommend this business for your next vacation on a houseboat
